Who we are

In the 1970’s, Richard Alderfer began providing HVAC services to Stephenville, Texas; his expertise resulted in the establishment of Alderfer Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service, Inc. in 1984. Richard was characterized as a visionary; inquisitive with regards to industry innovations and advancements.

A subcontractor at the time, Zachary Ward, acquired ownership of the business in 2008, resuming operations under Alderfer Air Conditioning Inc.. With over 28 years of experience, Zac persists in maintaining the legacy of Richard Alderfer, in addition to constructing his own. As a devoted father of three, Zac abides by a philosophy that prioritizes professionalism, graciousness and dignity. With these same principles, Alderfer Air Conditioning Inc. is committed to serving Erath County and the surrounding areas for years to come.
